Boards

My passion to create the best surfboards by combining the design of the board based on the specific waves the board will be surfed and paired with the ability of the surfer.

All surfboards are 100% hand-shaped.

HIGH pERFORMANCE SHORTBOARD

6'0" x 18 1/4" x  2 1/4"

On this particular design I kept more width in the outline of the tail to compensate for the flat, weak wave the board will be surfed on. This allows the surfer to generate and keep speed through flat sections of a wave. A single to double concave creates lift and directs flow through the tail, minimizing drag. From the smaller, weaker days to head-high surf, this board is all you really need.

Step up

6'2" x 19 1/8" x 2 3/8"

Rounded Pin Tail

This board was designed as a step up board for waves in the overhead range. I kept the length short for maneuverability and also kept a decent amount of foam for paddle power to get into waves early. A single concave directs the water straight off the tail, creating speed and lift. The 5-fin set up gives the surfer the ability to ride as a quad for speed or a thruster for more stability.

Specs

High performance Shortboard

6'1" x 19" x 2 3/8"

Swallow Tail

I designed this board for myself as an all-around shortboard during the winter season in Hawai`i. It's loose enough to flick around on the smaller days, but still able to grip the bigger surf. It performs great from 2' at Makaha up to 5' at Off The Wall. This board really performs 3-4 foot waves at the `Ehukai sandbar.

market Catch

5'10" x  22" x 2 1/4"

Round Nose Swallow Tail Fish

This board was designed for small Hawaiian summers or a retro feel on a good day. I designed it as a quad to minimize drag in extremely small surf. When ridden in 2-3' surf, this board feels like it is skating on water.

Spla11er

6'0" x 19" x 2 1/4"

This is my interpretation of a board ridden by a certain 11x world champion. A wider, forward outline makes paddling easier. The rounded thumb tail shortens the rail line and allows tighter carves in the pocket. Order this board the same height as you are tall.

Note: The carbon strips on the deck of this board are an aesthetic element.

Hybrid Shortboard

6'2" x 20" x 2 1/4"

Swallow Tail

This board is designed for small days when you don't feel like riding a fish. A flat rocker, full template, single to double concave and quad fin set-up, help to keep the planing area flat and fast with minimal drag, allowing you to generate and maintain speed with ease.

Van dyke

5'10" x 20" x 2 1/4"

Diamond Tail

This board is my interpretation of another popular board named after facial hair. This board is fast down the line. The diamond tail shortens the rail line increasing rail-to-rail transitions. This user-friendly design is optimal in 1' to head high surf. A single concave reaches its deepest point just before the front set of fins and tapers into a vee off the tail.

High Performance Shortboard

6'2" x 20" x 2 1/4"

Rounded Pin/ Thumb Tail

A single to double concave provides speed and lift accompanied by the quad fin set up, which minimizes drag. The round tail keeps the rail line short and draws out smooth arching turns. this board best compliments a power surfer, holding speed through round carves and off hard bottom turns.
